King Tutankhamun receives flowers from his wife queen Ankhesenamun . This is a depiction of a marriage card painted on the lid of a box found in King Tut's tomb. Ankhesenamun was the Great Royal Wife of Pharaoh Tutankhamun and his half sister. The royal couple are shown in a garden, the lower frieze shows young women plucking mandrakes. It is believed that the couple married circa BC 1335 she was thirteen years old when she became the wife of Tutankhamun when he was only nine years old. Pic 2 is the original scene which shows the lid of the casket currently in the Egyptian musuem as part of King Tutankhamen collection.
