This is a vivid depiction of a hunting scene by an Egyptian nobleman " Menna" discovered in the tombs of Dir El Medina Luxor, South of Egypt.
The scenes and drawings of the tomb of Menna are similar the daily life of agriculture and hunting in the civilization of ancient Egypt.
A wife of Menna called Hinotawy or Chamon-Amun is accompanying him in the hunt . A small statue of her is now on display at the Egyptian Museum.
It was discovered that the tomb was built and decorated during the reign of King Amenhotep III circa 1388–1351 BC (18th Dynasty)
It was discovered from the Menna Tomb that he had 5 children, two sons Si and Kha and 3 daughters of Amenim, Miskht, Nehimt and Kasi.
The tomb itself was not finished but the entire Menna Tomb retains views and engraving that are very beautiful.
